BOOKING INFORMATION
Do I need to book in advance?
Our tours fill up fast, so we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
We have a limited number of tickets available for purchase at the door. These are available based on the capacity of the space, and at the discretion of our crew.
We offer group discounts for parties of 15+. Please contact us directly to secure your group booking.
How do I book my ticket?
Online: We require full payment in advance to secure your booking.
On location: Level 5, Convention Centre, 88 Federal Street, Auckland CBD. We accept NZD cash or payment via most major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, UnionPay & Alipay).

What should I expect?
90 minutes of captivating, immersive, and surreal experiences. You’ll learn how our crew imagine, design, build and bring physical effects to life. Our friendly experience hosts will be happy to answer any questions you have during your visit.
What should I bring to Weta Workshop Unleashed?
Imagination, curiosity and comfortable shoes.
Please note: we do not have any luggage storage on site. However, there are storage lockers nearby. Check out radical storage for options.
How do I get my hands on some cool merchandise?
The Weta Cave shop is chock-full of collectibles, keepsakes & crafting kits for you to get creative and make cool stuff. We also sell a range of high-quality collectibles and merchandise which you can purchase online.
Can I take photos?

Is Weta Workshop Unleashed wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we can accommodate a range of accessibility requirements. During the experience there are slight inclines and declines in flooring, it is recommended that wheelchairs have brakes. Elevator access to level 5 is available via Federal Street and Albert Street.

Is there an age restriction?
We love to welcome guests of all ages, shapes, sizes and species but please note that Weta Workshop Unleashed includes some elements of ‘Horror.’ These may be unsettling for children, or unsuitable for guests with medical conditions aggravated by fright or stress. Our friendly crew can show you how to bypass these parts of the experience.

How do I get to Weta Workshop Unleashed?
Choose your own adventure by taking the elevator, stairs or escalator up to Level 5, 88 Federal Street, Auckland CBD. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your booked time.
We are a quick 10-minute stroll from Britomart – Auckland’s central bus and train station, and the Intercity Bus terminal is close by. For public transport options, please refer to the AT website
