Inspired by Roz the robot's epic journey in The Wild Robot movie, this hands-on experience lets young artists bring their very own robot character to life.
Then take a tour and explore interactive and immersive make-believe film sets, get hands on with movie special effects, props and more out of this world characters.
What to expect
In this 60-minute workshop, children and young people will:
- Discover the magic of sculpting: Guided by our talented Unleashed crew, young sculptors will learn the basics of creating 3D characters using simple household materials and modelling clay.
- Design and create their own unique robot: Craft a futuristic robot friend from scratch and give your creation a personality and story of its own.
- Collaborate and innovate: With plenty of one-on-one time with our expert crew, you'll work with others on ideas and techniques to make your sculptures truly special.
- Take home your masterpiece: Leave with your finished robot sculpture, ready to be displayed with pride at home.
- Immerse yourself in our 90-minute movie making experience and discover the wacky world of film special effects on a guided tour.
