20 years on from one of cinema's greatest achievements, the release of the third and final movie of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, "The Return of the King", we're thrilled to invite you to a one-of-a-kind celebration of the making of Middle-earth.
A special anniversary tour
Deemed an unfilmable trilogy of books, Peter Jackson, Wētā Workshop, and a cohort of creatives set out to bring J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings to the big screen.
For seven and a half years, our team worked to bring this mûmakil sized task to fruition, crafting costumes, armour, weapons, sets, miniatures, creatures and much more.
Now, we want to share the same care and creativity we put into crafting these films with you. Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate the making of Middle-earth with Wētā Workshop, with a tour delving into the behind-the-scenes stories of the epic trilogy.
